Wishbones was founded by Brooke Gangbar Iwan and Brigid Savage. The two met as teenagers in high school and bonded over ramen noodles and Arizona iced tea. Now, Brooke and Brigid (now bonded by a more varied menu) channel their love of sharing food and cooking for others into wishbones. They believe in no fuss, delicious food that feels welcoming and comforting.

Brigid is a communications professional and works in Toronto. Her favourite meal is anything made by her Malaysian poh poh. She likes to giggle with her friends, spend time with her partner and their dog Olive, and learn about homesteading (one day she hopes to own a herd of goats).

Brooke is a community worker in Toronto. She is inspired by the foods she grew up eating across Toronto and the recipes passed down by generations of Jewish women in her family. She loves to host, to garden, and to play in the kitchen. She is also passionate about food justice, because food is always political, and to live we must use food as resistance.
